Spanish

  • Spanish I and Spanish II (1 credit each)
    This course reviews the basic structures learned in the first course and continues with additional structures, expressions, and vocabulary.  Listening and speaking skills are refined and further developed.  Reading skills are reinforced and writing skills are improved through guided compositions.  Cultural studies are integrated into the lessons and stressed through creative activities.

    Prerequisite:  French I or Spanish I

       Additionally, for the eighth year in a row, the Louisiana Department of Education   recognizes Rosepine High School as an academic  "A" school. Our school  currently has the topped ranked School Performance Score  of 121.6 within Vernon Parish. Meanwhile, our parish is ranked #5 in the state with a 105.7 SPS.

    On September 30th, 2014, Arne Duncan ,U.S. Secretary of Education, officially recognized RHS as a BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL.
